I have managed to run lightbox for images but could not for the Video Lightbox. Is this restricted? since, the feature includes to upload .css and .js as well as adding scripts to the head and body section, I am wondering whether Yola allow this. If so, please help me out.

Hello beachtravels

If you have Yola Silver, you should be able to upload your .js files. However if you have Yola Free, then yes, the .js files uploads are restricted. Perhaps you can share your URL where you're trying to set this up and we can try to help you with this. There are a lot of code savvy users on this site who may be able to assist!

Hello,

I have Yola Silver. If I don't I will not be able to use the image Lightbox as it requires to upload .js files :-)
I have read that using multiple scripts for one page may cause conflicts and the script functions may not work. For this I tried the Video Lightbox in a new page but unfortunately there was no result.

I examined the lightbox code and it seems that it is opening a swf file in a iframe, which will cause the browser to download it rather than play it. I don't know how you can fix this, but I do have a suggestion, try my yola modal box, it will be able to show a youtube video. Just copy the url in the embed code from youtube and insert it into a <a href="yoururl" rel="modalbox">yourlink</a>

Hello Chirsmansell,

I'm pretty sure that you can alter the CSS file for this. Kevin will be able to further clarify if this is possible.

Hi Kevin,

I am not using a YouTube video just wanted to show an uploaded .flv. The files was created via "VideoLightbox.exe" by www.videolightbox.com... When I try the .html that consists of the .js,.css etc through my hdsk (local disk), the video shows perfectly. I uploaded everything accordingly and changed the link location for the .js, .css and .flv but unfortunately there goes the problem. .css works okay though.
As a Yola Silver member, uploading .js is allowed so I guess there should not be a problem, however I have found that members cannot amend head section of any page, while "VideoLightbox" uses scripts in head section
and one script in body section. Will this has anything to do with the problem?

Hi,beachtravels,

For some reason this: &volume=100 is at the end of the url for the file. Without it , the file can be found. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the support but sad that I could not work it out but Kudos to Kevin's idea as I have created a YouTube page and uploaded the video there and linked back to my site.
