Hello,

My Yola Visitor Stat counter shows less visitors to my website than my Google Analytics visitor counter. Can anyone explain why?

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Analytics is a very inexact process. Generally there are correlations between the various providers but rarely do they get the same values. You mention discrepancy so i presume that it has been OK up until now? If that is the case then it can be a lag between the various providers which often corrects after some period, possibly due to backups etc. I don't know who Yola uses for their analytics engine so I can't suggest looking at the primary web-reference for the provider to see if there are any alerts or notices..

Hello Chris,

Google analytics is more in-depth than Yola's Site Traffic and therefore it will display different site traffic information.

Think of the Yola Site Traffic as a general overview and the Analytics as a micro analysis.

I hope that helps.
