Want to switch my website from godaddy.com to Yola.

I have a couple websites that I bought through godaddy.com that are expiring. I found it easier to create them and list them all in one place on Yola. How can I keep my website names but do it all through you without my name becoming unavailable when it expires with them?

Hi, Katina,

Since you have Yola Silver you can point the domains to Yola. You do this by creating A records (address record) to point to this IP address: "184.72.229.176". You will need to do this configuration yourself and the method for doing so varies from registrar to registrar. You will need to log in to your account with your domain registrar and create 2 A Records (Address Record) to point to this IP address: 184.72.229.176. One A Record for WWW and another one for @. You can find more information here: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...

Please note if you have any trouble, we cannot give more than the basic setup support. You may want to transfer your domains to Yola so we can manage the DNS for you.

Hi Katina

If your domain is about to expire at GoDaddy and you would like to keep your website and domain hosting in one place, then you can transfer your domain to Yola.

You will find detailed instructions and a FAQ at this link: Transferring your domain to Yola.

If you have more questions about transferring your domain, or if you need our help, please let us know.

Thank you
