We seriously need the ability to hide images for the mobile versions of our sites

It's great that we now have the responsive web design for mobile and tablet, however, it would be of great use if we could have the "Show in mobile" check that we have for the html plugin. (By the way, that check box seems to have disappeared or is it just me?) With some of us having image heavy sites it would be very helpful to have the ability to make the mobile versions with less images otherwise it's scroll, scroll, scroll, etc. The same goes for image galleries, it's a lot of scrolling. Anyway, i'm now designing with the new system in mind, so for future designs this won't be a problem, but that said, the "Show image in mobile" check box would still be a useful little tool.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Have a Happy Easter to all at Yola and all the forum members.

By the way, just thought i'd share this, the inability to uncheck html in mobile views has thrown up a new issue. The plus button that opens the location and phone icons won't work with pages that contain html plugins.

Hi Grant,

We appreciate your feedback.

The "Show in mobile" option for the HTML widget is only available if the Simplified Mobile option is used.

I'm afraid that we are unlikely to pursue the option for images. The plan is to move towards a responsive solution that will optimize the display of images for the current viewport rather than hiding them.

I'd like to look into the other issue you brought about the location and phone not working on pages that contain HTML Widgets. Can you please share a page URL so that we can look into this. Many thanks!
