Hi Pinkicy

Yola is integrated with Disqus which is a commenting platform. You can easily integrate this with your blog. Here's a tutorial on how to achieve this:

http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

You can also use an external source such as js-kit.com and paste their code into the area where you'd paste the Disqus code.

I have this set up on my site if you'd like to see what it looks like.

http://littleus.yolasite.com/blog.

You'll need to click on the post title and then you'll see the comment box at the bottom.

Please let us know if this does not answer your question or if you need help with the installation of this commenting platform.

Yola are probably working on it. Do you know how much work has to go into developing things like this? It'd not just a days work it takes months and sometimes even years. Also wordpress started back in May 2003 while Yola only started March 2007, that's 4 years more development.

I'm sorry that you're frustrated pinkicy. I'm not clear though on what you wrote. If you're adding a commenting platform to your blog, you should only have to add it once. Then, this should render for all your posts automatically.

If you're wanting to add a comment to a webpage that is not a blog, then, yes.. you'll need to add to every page. You can use "save page as" to replicate the page and this will duplicate all the codes automatically.

Hi Pinkicy - you don't need to add the Disqus code to each page, you only need to add it once to enable comments for each blog post. If you follow the directions on the link that Littleus has provided, it will work. Feel free to post your site's URL if you would like us to check whether it has been added correctly.

Pinkicy.. would you mind sharing with us your url? I am still not clear on what is taking place. We would really like to help you resolve this.

I'm sure that you've already done this.. but just to make sure that we've covered the bases.

To add your comment box to your blog page, please click on blog manager and then settings.

Then, you'll see a box where you can paste your code into. Paste your code in there and then click "done".

To see your comment box, you will need to click on your blog post title and you should see your comment box below your post.

Hello pinkicy15253,

The screen shots that littleus posted will hopefully be helpful. You only need to paste the Disqus code once under the Settings tab.

Can you give this a try and please let us know if you are still having trouble.

Would you mind sharing your site url pinkicy so that we can take a look at what's going on? Also... what browser are you using? I'm concerned that there may be something that is on your site that is making this incompatible and may bring up future problems if not addressed.

Hi,
I'm sorry it doesn't seem to be working for you. If you would like to email me at support@yola.com I can take a closer look at your site and see what the problem might be.

I'm so pleased to hear that it finally worked! I'm sorry that you had to go through this so many times though. I know that was very frustrating. Now you can move forward and really start enjoying your blog and sharing it with others. =)
