If you need support from Yola please contact us via email@example.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
hi we are a silver member looking to improve our site ... we want to know if you have designers in New Zealand? Also - we would like to know if Store can have separate ID's for separate websites operated under the same account?
There are certainly Yola sites built by NZ's and I recall a featured site by an artist but can't remember who or their site As for a group or a group of formal designers I don't know ? Hoping that Laura can shed some light on this.
There isn't a facility for separate ID's for separate Sites. You can however create separate sites within the one Yola Account, using the one Store registration with Yola. You can't however customise separate stores with separate requirements such as font colours etc. These must be the same. This is a feature of Ecwid but at the moment hasn't been resolved by Yola. It's under consideration and I hope will shortly be resolved. If you require separate customisation then you would be better off cancelling your Online Store and registering with Ecwid directly, I think $17 per month(?) with 20,000 products and infinite customisation options. You could download your inventory as a CSV file then upload it again to your native Ecwid store. You also don't need Silver for this as it works very well with Bronze or even Free subscription. The native Ecwid subscription is also independent of account, you can share this with others if you give them your login details for your Ecwid Account only. Ecwid native is also free for a product list of less than 100 items (including categories)
The Yola Online Store facility at this time can handle 1000 inventory items including categories. You may be able to increase this by sending a request to Yola.So by using Categories you can be selective of items shown in various Stores on different websites.
