Ok, so I just bought a book the other day for $12.50 (which was half off the original price of $24.99)... this book has virtually everything you need to make your website more visible and sell its products better ranging from SEO to AdSense and MANY MANY more stuff - I just got it so I still don't know everything that's in it. It also comes with a $25 AdWords credit so the book is technically free.

I recommend anyone wanting to learn about Web Marketing and get free advertising (worth $25) to purchase this book. I bought my copy from Borders book store.

Also, I might share some good information from it from time to time. :)

Thanks Donald - Fortunately I had already bought this book. Its very interesting. Although I believe it should include more content about Search Optimisation, however there is a *Search optimisation for dummies* book including an adsence voucher.

that's cool. I'm going to hold on to the voucher until my new release... right now, I'm working on modifying my site to look and feel better as well as better functionality.

"Post your phone number and street address on every page"

What do you think about this and how would you do it? List it in the copyright section at the bottom of the page?

Posting street numbers etc. Would be a bad thing to do unless from a business estate. The reason for this is because frankly Google does like consistency and binds pages together in that way, but really to your home address its really not worth doing.

If you were to do it, yes, put it in your copyright footer.

well... the web marketing book says you should do it to attract and keep visitors. However, it's just in a checklist so it doesn't explain it on this page, it could be for those which accept phone calls or receive mail or have a physical location - which I do not!
