A website that has spelling mistakes or typos can put people off very quickly and bring down your site's credibility. Invest in using a spell checker so that you can enhance the content quality of your website!

Most browsers have spell checking features these days. If the spell checking feature is not visible on your tool bar, check your browser preferences and see if you can turn it on there.

One suggestion is using the Firefox browser. While working in this browser, when you spell something wrong it will be underlined in red. Right-click on the underlined word and a list of alternative spellings will be suggested. To select, click on the appropriate word and your mistyped word will be replaced.

You can also use this online tool to check the spelling: Spellchecker.net.

Happy spelling!

I agree totally, I will often close a web page after the first paragraph if it has too many spelling mistakes or grammatical errors, it shows a lack of professionalism and demonstrates the writer cannot be bothered. I certainly would not buy anything from a site that showed so little care.
