Website Design Tip: Hide That Counter!

Tracking your visitors is very important and can be quite informative. However, showing the actual number can serve as a hindrance - especially
if you have very few visitors. People who visit your site will think it is unpopular, has no good content and will leave.

It is better to use a good tracking service (which will hide the counter). This will not only track how many visitors have come to your site but also give you statistics for page views, pages per visit, bounce rates and average time on site etc. We recommend using Google Analytics. Hi Sanja,
I am totally agree with what you said. Showing a counter on a website does not help the site but harm the site(if there are very few visitors on that site)

Yes, Sanja, you are 100% right. That website will loose the visitors if there's counter unless they have a lot of visitors. I recommend Google Analytics too, I have been using it for a year now and its a cool system!
