My website keeps reformatting/adjusting the text and content every time I adjust the browser's windows size. Is there a way to resolve this?!

Hi Vincent,

I think that the answer to this is to select a common screen resolution. Add the content and publish.

It is kind of irrelevant then at what resolution a viewer is using as the format is fixed by the sitebuilder. It won't change from your side after publication. This isn't absolutely true because if someone is using a mobile phone or similar device with small reading screens then there can be some reformatting but that is understood by users of these devices. Within the PC class of devices there shouldn't be variations in format for average size screens with matched or appropriate resolution settings. Small screens or low res settings will probably show scroll bars to allow users to scroll sideways to read the content.

I was just doing a bit of reading on this topic and it seems that most people use maximised resolution for screen sizes up to 1200 pixels and after that they are less maximised. This could have an effect on presentation if you are using a template that is full screen. You will notice that many of Yolas template styles have a central insert. This acts as a container in effect to prevent the formatting that may occur with full screen styles. So if your work is critical then you should consider using a style with the central insert.
