No one can access my website neither through brightbrightbeginnings.com nor brightbrightbeginnings.synthasite.com. When they do the first the msn bar comes up asking about some other options, with the latter Error 404 page not found. I also have the same problems from my end.

Hi Nicola
The most likely reason why you are getting that "404-Not Found"
message is that you have either deleted or renamed your index page. In order for your browser to access your site you need a page with the filename "index."

To check on this, click on the Site Manager tab. If you see a big read box that says:
"You have no index page! Your site won't have a homepage" (see the screenshot below) then you know that this is the problem. Click on the page you want people to access when they first visit your site and rename it to "index" and republish your site.

Let us know if that solves the problem.

Hi lupe. Have you renamed your pages by any chance? When I go to your published site I can see all your pages but they have different names as Ed said. You might also want to wait a few days until we do our next release. We will then be generating an XML sitemap for you and all you will have to do is submit a single URL to Google and you can be sure that everything is working correctly.

Hi Lupe

First things first... Relax and don't worry it will be just fine

I looked at your site and saw nothing out of place other than some slow loading images it's fine.

The following pages that you get the error messages for I wonder could you tell me if they are pages that you created and then deleted? When I looked at them I got a message which lets me believe that they are not there. If you had created them and they are meant to be there then I wonder if you may have forgotten to update your site and it is the reason that you cannot see them.

If you deleted them then there is your answer. When Google looked they could not find what is not there. If this is the case I would delete your sitemaps.xml file from your file manager, update your site and start over from scratch by using the following tutorial.
.
.
.
.
.
1) Goto http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/

2) Then put your synthesite website URL in the text box after the (http://) www."yoursitehere".synthasite.com/ your site name in place of "yoursitehere".Don't forget to remove the commas. If you open your index page in your browser and highlight then copy your URL then paste into the box it works just as well but do remember to highlight the (http://) in the text box and then paste or you will have two (http://)'s in the address.

don't (Change frequency) and leave (Last modification) alone

3) Press (Start)

4) When its done save or (Download un-compressed XML Sitemap) to your computer then save to your File manager. Then update...

5) Then go here http://www.sitemapwriter.com/notify.php and type in your synthesite address in the text box after the http://

6) Don't change the (Search Engine) box and then click (Notify)

You are now going to be crawled by Google, Yahoo, Ask.com, Live and Moreover.com

This may take a few days and is up to their crawler schedule.

To upload your sitemap to your site is simple.

1) Open your page editor and in the toolbar you will click on a button that says "File Manager"

2) Once the file manager has opened you simply click the button that says "Upload"

3) In the File Upload pop up box click on the "Browse" button and search for the sitemap file you just created and then click on the file to highlight and click the "Ok" button

4) Click "OK" in the File Upload pop up box

5) Click "Close" in the File Manager

6) Then update your site to save the changes.

.
.
As to the Google webmasters tools you need to have your sitemap in place and in your site file manager first before you can use the webmasters tools.

1) Goto the Google webmasters tools dashboard and enter in your URL in the "ADD SITE" box provided then click "ADD SITE"

http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

2) Then click on your sites link in blue

3) Then on the left side of the screen click on the "SITEMAPS" button.

4) Then click the "Add a Sitemap" link mid page.

5) Select "Add General Web Sitemap" in the drop down box.

6) Place the following inside the step 3 box resources/sitemap.xml

7) then click "Add General Web Sitemap"

That should do it...

Happy site building
