Hi Kathe

I am sorry to hear that. I am not sure what could be causing this. Are the photos not opening on your site when you are in editing mode, or is the problem on your live site?

Does clicking "refresh" help at all?

Let me know!

Thanks,
Monique

Monique, I figured out what was wrong. I had deleted the photos from my collection of pictures, thinking I no longer needed them and to make room for more if I wanted to add them later to my webpage. I didn't know that this would delete them also from my pages. Now I know better.

Ouch! Thanks for letting me know! I am sorry you had this nasty experience. (It gives me a good idea on troubleshooting when someone else reports this problem, though, so thank you for sharing this issue here!)

It is true that deleting a file from the file manager will cause it to be deleted from your site. What we hope to do in future is to create folders and filters in the file manager to make your files more manageable and the file manager less cluttered and slow to load when you have a large number of files. Hopefully this improvement will be available soon!

Hi Ann

To add images to your page you can either:
1. Drag and drop an image widget
2. The file manager dialogue box will pop up
3. Upload a picture from your computer
4. Press ok and an image will be added to your page!

Or if you would like to insert an image in text that you're adding:
1. Drag and drop a text widget onto your page
2. Click "insert image" on the text editing toolbar (the icon that looks like a green tree in a picture frame, roughly in the middle of the toolbar)
3. The file manager will open up and allow you to browse for a select an image
Using the text widget allows you to insert a number of image in the same text box.

There are a number of other options for adding images, including Flickr searches, photogalleries and slideshows. For more advice on the various options for presenting images on your page, and for some great design tips, please look at the video tutorials related to this topic.
