My website is being rerouted to a colon cleanse company. Aside from deleting my account, what are the options?

Hello Heather

I'm confident that it won't be necessary to delete your Yola account. I was able to display your live home page by stopping it to load before it redirects. I can see a link to the cleansing company at the bottom of your home page. Did you add it, or is it possible that someone who has access to your Yola account has added it to your website? It is a link which redirects to the cleansing company website automatically.

Unfortunately I'm unable to open your home page (index page) in your Yola Sitebuilder because the redirect takes effect immediately, so we can't remove the link from your index page.

What you can do now: Replace your current index page by a new one, which means that you will need to rebuild your home page from scratch. However, your other pages are still there and will not need to be re-created.

Here is how to replace your index page:
  1. Open your website in the Yola Sitebuilder.

  2. When you see the chrome of Sitebuilder, click on the Stop button in your browser to stop loading before it can redirect to the cleansing company website.

  3. Select a different page from the Page Selector in the upper menu bar. As long as the redirect isn't also on the page you select, the page should open for you fine.

  4. Click on "Page" in the upper menu bar and choose "Add New Page".

  5. Name this new page "index" and click on the "OK" button.

  6. You will be asked if you want to overwrite the existing index page. Click on "OK" to do this.

You have successfully replaced your index page by a new page. You can now re-build your home page, and once done, re-publish.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
