You will notice that Get Satisfaction is looking a little different now! They have rolled out some great new features, so here is an overview to help you find your way around! Thank you Amy, Get Satisfaction CCO, for providing this information:

Get Satisfaction Makes It Easier to Reach All Support Channels

Get Satisfaction 2.0 helps you reach the right people in Yola. You can use the community as your main area for communication, but you can also quickly link to our Twitter account @yola: http://twitter.com/yola, our Facebook page, or our official email: support [at] yola.com

FastPass

And, we’d like to introduce you to FastPass, a single sign-on feature. You’ll be able to access both Get Satisfaction and Yola using the same ID and password, now.

“Get Results” Even Faster Now

Get Satisfaction 2.0 has some new features that will help you “Get Results” quickly:

- If your topic need attentions, it will be highlighted with prominent prompts such as "Needs Answer" or "Needs Solution.”

- The answers to popular questions and the people with great answers will be also highlighted.

- You can "star" any topic to vote it up in priority and subscribe to updates about certain topics you’re interested in.

- Status indicators will show the resolution/progress status of each of your topics.

Super Simple New Interface

Get Satisfaction 2.0 refreshes the user interface to present content in simple, easy-to-digest ways. Its never been easier to search, browse or interact.

“Curated” Views Show You the Most Popular and Common Content

Another new feature, Content Auto-Curation, leverages the natural activity of the community to organize and display useful sets of topics—things like frequently asked questions, common unsolved problems, and most popular ideas. You’ll get a fast track to the information you need.

Community Reputation Helps You Find Expert Folks

Get Satisfaction 2.0 adds more tools to help customers connect with each other to answer questions and solve problems. Through positive participation, every member can now earn reputation within the community based on who answers questions, who solves problems.

Very Slick Search Features

There are also some cool new search features that you should check out:

- Members can search and post from every page of the Yola community

- Multi-faceted search results allow you to filter results by topic type (question, problem, idea, etc)

The Yola reps are really looking forward to coming to grips with the new features. We have a bit of updating to do! We are also very keen to hear your comments and feedback, so post away!

I have to admit.. I was a bit lost at first! I was so used to the old way but I can definitely see some great potential with this new set-up. I am looking forward to exploring this!

The only issue I have is with Fastpass. I made a posting about it on Get Sastisfaction. Here's the thread:

http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa...

The other thing I miss is not seeing who made the last post. It just says "active last 1 hour". Is there a way to add that feature back in?

Also.. I don't see the Yola employee page anymore. Is this something you will put back on?

Thanks for the feedback, Littleus! If you have any comments, suggestions for how Yola uses the new features, please post them here.

If they are question, comments or suggestions for Get Satisfaction (such as the Employee page, last post etc) please post at: http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa..., as they will be in the best position to answer you.

We are getting our first look at this ourselves, and I am sure we will learn as we go along and find out how to make the best use of the new features.

Hi Alex. I am sorry you feel that way. Can you do me a favor and work with it for a week or two. Experiment with the new features we didn't have before. If you still feel the same way after you have given it a bit of time, I will ask you to explain the things you don't like in more detail and we can share your feedback with Get Satisfaction.

Let's hear what they have to say. I was also missing some major things - like the Yola people page! But after awhile I found what I was looking for and I also started really enjoying some of the new features. It is frustrating not finding important stuff - like walking into a room and feeling like someone has moved all your furniture! But I am going with the attitude that it is all still in here somewhere and I will be familiar with it again soon, and have a whole lot of new, cool stuff in the process. If I am still lost after taking a good look around I will call for help!

well, you have convinced me,

the only thing i miss is the fact that the questions are at the bottom, i liked all the mush mash topics then you could select what you viewed.

Here's my 2 cents, for what it's worth.

Although flattering for the company, the "recent praise" takes up far to much page real estate. Moving this to the right column, or just reducing it's size would give the "recent activity" more space and focus, as we have been used to in the past.
Also, move it up the page more. It could trade places with "ideas in concideration" which I believe is less important. I've have also posted some more concerns here:

Hi Boomer

I am inclined to agree with you about giving greater prominence to recent activity and less prominence to just about everything else except FAQs.

I will follow your post with interest, and probably add my own 2-cents worth :)

Thanks for the feedback.
