Hi All

Just to let you know that we are rolling out some bug fixes and a couple of new features. Logins are disabled, but we will be back shortly - better than before!

Great that it's being upgraded and I am a big fan of synthasite but really need to be able to edit my site during the day.

Thank you for your positive feedback. It is great to hear that you are eager to work on your site! We try to select the time when the fewest number of users are online, but we are aware that some people will be inconvenienced as a result. However, this is temporary and SynthaSite will be better for everyone when we are done! If all goes according to plan you should be able to continue editing your site a little later today. Please bear with us - we will keep you posted!

forgot that you are PST (GMT here) which is why it affects us during the day when you do an update. Not a huge problem as the upgrades are not that frequent.

Great! I discovered this when I suddenly couldn't do anything LOL anyway, upgrades are ALWAYS welcome ;)

Can't wait to see the features :P

How long ± do we still need to wait? Any idea?

*SynthaSite is undergoing an upgrade between 12:30am and 3:30am PST.*

Uhm, LOL I saw that but I have no clue as to what PST is. Please help could you tell me? Yeah, I am sure it is a silly question

PST = Pacific Standard Time
but im not sure on list of countries, states and cities which use this time zone

United States and Canada i think.

Something wrong after the update, my blog always revert on 0 post on categories, it already happen last time and now it happen again after the upgrade.

Hi Rich,

I'm sorry you are having this problem. Please can you do the following for me:
1. Log into you account and open up your site
2. Click on the "Help" menu
3. Click on "Contact Support"
4. Fill in the form and send it to me

That will give me more information that will help me solve the problem.

Yes, actually, i already had this problem before, it also happen after the update last time, but i already fix it, now after the upgrade/update again on synthasite, its start again, anyway ok, i already sent a report, hope i can get a reply back,

In that case it would be helpful if you could email us from the help menu and tell us which page will not load. We need to take a closer look at this so that we can help you get on with building your site!

Also having problems since the updates. I am just trying to save a text box which I have edited within my site. A prompt appears saying it needs to repair the widget which I have to accept. I then go back into my text box and some of the words have joined together (e.g. joinedtogether) i.e. it has taken away some of the spaces and also some of the punctuation has been replaced by questions marks.

Either of those links should have worked but we have not received anything. I have no idea why and I am really sorry. We would love to take a closer look at the problem with your text. Could you just email us directly at support@synthasite.com (nevermind about the help menu) and we will talk through the problem with you.

I am sorry to hear that - I responded to you immediately on receipt of your email. I can resend my reply, but I will rather share an update with you here. The HTML validator that affected your text has now been disabled, so you should not have this problem going forward. However, if you want to paste text from an external source the best approach is to first copy and paste it into a program like NotePad or TextEdit (Mac users) and then paste into SynthaSite. This will strip out any invalid formatting that could break your page or cause display problems. Sorry for all the hassle - we will keep working on making this better.

something happened with the fonts/text after update? they like went all teh way out from my background box
