I want to start a massage board where people can post contact information, but I don’t want them to run the risk of getting spam. What are the ways to prevent this?

Yes, placing an email address on a website does run the risk of spam. You could request contact details via a form, unless it is that you want all people on the site to see contact details?

You could put a contact form on your site and people could send you their information. Here is a link to a thread in the forum with more information on how to do this: Adding Contact Form.

I hope this helps!

Additionally, for those in the future using the search feature and find this thread looking for a way to protect your email on your website I posted a thread which is on the subject here...

Sadly, it may not work for Ai-Ya's situation but there will be many searching for "What are the best ways to protect email addresses?" and this thread will more than likely be near the top. ;)

Happy site building
