This depends to some extent on the domain type. (.com, .info, .org etc) Approx $12 per year +/-

There is another aspect as well John and that's your hosting plan. You need a hosting plan to publish to a so called custom domain. There are two levels of this with Yola: Bronze and Silver. Here's a Guide to the Pricing of the Hosting plan. Once again this is not cast in stone and there are discounts for some people. It can be paid for yearly or by monthly subscription depending on the discount if applicable.

Hi John,

You are signed up via the Get British Business Online (GBBO) program, which means you are a Bronze member with a custom domain all completely free for the first year.

When you renew your Yola Bronze hosting package after the first free year, you can choose between annual or monthly billing. The annual Yola Bronze domain hosting package costs £17.95, or you can choose the monthly billing option and pay £2.95 / month.

Because co.uk domains are registered for periods of two years, as per registry policy, you will only need to renew your domain the following year, 2013 in your case. Domain renewal for a co.uk domain costs £12.95.
