Add dates, time and place of drum seminars/work shops...Many music stores around the world hold such events at their stores to DRUM up business(sorry could not resist)...Get their permission of course but I am sure many would like the free publicity.

Hello,

Maybe a blog would be cool. You could write posts about various techniques, give tips, give links to resources you find, tell stories about people who play this instrument, give information about happenings in your area (like John mentioned)... really just about anything.

Here is a link to our blogging tutorial where you can learn more about this: Create a free blog with Yola!

Hope this helps!

Not an addition, but a minor edit would be be adding a date to your copyright.

Your site looks better every time you post,

How about some audio? Your site is about music, so that seems logical. The tip you give about softer drumming (on your home page) - that would be so much more effective if you could also post a YouTube or other clip showing the difference in sound.

Also you could have pages on (1) different styles of drumming; and (2) famous drummers. Even I have heard of a few famous drummers -- Gene Krupa, Ringo Starr, Ginger Baker. What made them famous? where would I find out more about their drumming? There's a movie about Gene Krupa, IIRC. What is the name of it? And, of course, if you could add clips to these pages, that would be terrific.

A while back I was looking for info for a teen, new to drums. He wanted to know about drumsticks (types, lengths, how to hold, etc.) and drum pads (size, placement, materials, electronic, etc.)

Informational content seems to get picked up quickly by search engines.

Someday, perhaps far in the future, you could also have a page or two on (1) history of drums -- they are probably just about the earliest musical instrument that humans used; and (2) drums in other cultures - every culture has some type of drum; look up the Irish bodhran!

Actually, you have a great topic -- one that should keep you going for quite a while!
