As always, our site builder and hosting are free. There are no added features that are only accessible via purchasing a domain name, other than a very convenient service, and automatically configuring it to point to your site.

We will soon begin to add additional premium products and services beyond custom domain names - let us know what would be interesting to you, we are listening.

first of all i reccomend you guys have your own forum system, widgetbox, html controlled forums arent exactly *whats good* for anyone..

secondly I think that the header banner at the top should stay for each page like have an option to make all headers the same.

thirdly I believe Yola should use more Yola-designed products, yola seems to be all about other services(widgetbox, google, etc.)

Thanks for reading ;)

forever and always,

Hi there - just to let you know that the only way someone can get into your Yola account and edit your site is if they know your password. You can always change your password by following the steps on this link: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/.... I hope that helps!

Hi Hero_thelove,

I'd like to share an answer that our VP of Engineering recently gave on another thread that was asking about security for their website.

"Your site is as secure as it is technically possible to make it.

The fact that it is a free service does not inform how we approach security (or any other hosting issues like uptime, speed of availability). You are a customer and we treat as such - whether or not you pay us something. We do the best job possible and devote many hours of some the best engineers in the industry to making sure your sites are secure and most importantly, available.

That having been said, places like government agencies and banks are sometimes attacked by malicious hackers, so if someone with a lot of resources wants to target you through electronic crime anyone is a possible target.

The weakest point of our or MySpace or Facebook or your online banking platforms is your username and password. So you should keep that safe and secure.

And rest assured that you are backed by leading security measures and engineers who are constantly looking at ways of keeping things secure."

I hope this helps to put your mind at rest.

Thanks Ruth,
I appreciate all services of Yola & Synthasite and I trust in it, I know all what you say.

I don't mean that services was bad, Services here is great and very good.
My idea only to help in improving services that provided by Yola, also some friends told me more about hackers and that fear me.
you can see topic i put here about this idea: (( http://gsfn.us/t/5kh8 ))
Thanks for you and all team

Thanks everyone for your input!

Michael, see my answer on this thread for a sneak preview of the new style features coming soon: http://getsatisfaction.com/yola/topic...

Can you tell me a bit more about what you mean about the ability to place images and text freely on your website? By using a combination of our layout and widget options you should be able to place text an images anywhere you like inside the editable area of your page. If you are having difficulty positioning your content, let us know. Or if you would like it to work differently, please describe the changes you are hoping for so that we can take this into consideration.

Well, at the moment i know how to place in one column or two column layouts, what i would really like to see is being able to place wherever you want on the page, not just in one column or two columns, there might already be a way to do this i might just not have found it. i hope this helps you better understand.

Yes, I think I understand what you are after. Right now it is not possible to simply drag a widget to any point on the page that you like and have it just "stick" there. However, you can place widgets fairly accurately as follows:

You can place your widget almost anywhere you want and there are two ways to do this.

1. You can use one of our layouts that we offer ( the layouts tab is in the top left-hand corner of the site builder) to correctly position your widgets. See: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...

2. You can add blank text widgets to your page as blank spaces to help position your widgets more accurately. If all you have in the widgets are 'spaces' (and no text) and by hitting 'return/enter' to elongate it, you can create a blank space to help position your widget.

You can use a combination of the above to get your widgets correctly placed and aligned to your satisfaction.

I hope that gives you some additional flexibility, but I will pass your suggestion on to our developers so that they can consider ways to improve the Yola drag and drop function and give you greater control over the layout of your page.
