What fourm widget can I use on Yola instead of Tal.Ki?

I don't like Tal.Ki because it takes photos from sites like myspace and your name and uses them for your user profile. My site has to be annonomus for all users. When I say that, I mean that you can choose your username and password and what avatar you want, not the widget doing that automatically. I have tried Nabble. I love it, but I have 2 websites. I want to put Nabble on the other site too. The problem is that the embeded fourm widget can only have 1 background color, but my 2 sites have different background colors. I want to have a fourm widget that has its own login system and the background color of the widget changes to the background color of the site it is on. Any Ideas?

Hello Domefavor,

Why not just make another Nabble form for the other site?

Also, can you post the HTML code they give you to embed the form into your page? I might be able to edit it so it will fit your website's background color! If it has CSS in it I will be able to.

Be sure to wrap the code in <!-- and --> Like this:

<!--

<code tags here>

-->

That is just to keep the code from rendering on the forum.

Sincerely,
Nathan

Hello Domefavor,

Unfortunately I am not familiar with an embeddable forum application that allows for the background color to match up to the site; there could very well be some, I'm just not familiar with them. Possibly someone here in the Yola forum will have some ideas for you. Another forum option is lefora.com, you may want to check them out and see what they have available.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Ok Emmy I'll try lefora.com . The reason I do not want to make another Nabble fourm is because I want all the articles in the 2 sites to be insync. The Tal.Ki fourm worked great for the background problem, but does not have the login system I want.

Hello Domefavor,

One solution I use that allows changable colour schemes is CBox. When you go to this you will need to create an account to start making one. It's not exactly the best solution, as it isn't a forum per se. It's more like a comment box, but it works very well.

Hope this helps

Ok. Just made a fourm with lefora.com. Got to tell you, not the best solution out there. Their embed options include iframe which does not have transparent backgrounds. I also tried freefourms with no luck. Lefora has a support fourms with transparent questions, but no solution to my problem yet. Any other fourms online? Preferably one with embeded options built in and not iframes.
