Charliesedarka, it should be free. Could you please give more details on this? Is it because you want to buy a custom domain? The site is free when you get a yola subdomain.

Hi Charlie,

As Kevin stated, you are certainly welcome to publish your site to a free Yola subdomain, making the creation, publishing and hosting of your site entirely free. If you are interested in a custom domain, that is a feature that needs to be purchased. You are welcome to see more information in regards to the packages we offer here: Yola Pricing. You can read all about publishing here: Publish my Yola site!

I hope you find this helpful. Please let us know if you need further clarification.

Hi Charlie

Does Kevin's reply and Brianna's reply help? Was it not free because you want a custom domain name? If you want a "free" custom domain, there is not a way. There isn't a way to get a free custom domain name because it costs money to run your domain. It isn't free to the host so it can't be free to you. If you upgrade to Yola Silver, for $99.95/year, you get a custom domain, plus much more features. Find out more information about Yola Silver here.

A Yola sub-domain is like this:

www.YOUR-SITE.yolasite.com

But "YOUR-SITE" is the sub-domain that you type in.

Hello Freemoneylinks,

For the £99.95/year (cheaper if you buy 5 years), you get the following:

The Yola Sitebuilder with extra features like CSS editing, Premium Design templates and soon... Drop Down Menu's.

You also get 1 free domain name (not the yolasite subdomain) You get unlimited pages, 25 websites and 5GB of storage per site which is 125GB all together.

Email costs you extra, about $17.99/year with any domain name through Yola.

Sub domains are not available through Yola (I do not believe).

Hope this clears it up!

Well the reason i asked was manly sub links. I have a domain and site threw yola. And i was told by another site owner that as long as you got the domain from yola and are using yola site for your web pages you can add 5 sub domains to that domain name for free.

Hi freemoneylinks,
You are certainly welcome to add subdomains. Right now we have a bug which is not allowing our domain holders to publish to subdomains on their own, however, if you publish to a .yolasite subdomain and share with us what you would like your subdomain to be, we can manually make this change for you.

We still have to create custom subdomains on our end. Please email support@yola.com from the account containing your custom domain for assistance. You will need to create and publish to a free .yolasite subdomain and then indicate the custom sub domain name you want associated with the site and we'll add it for you.
