If you need support from Yola please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
HTML or hypertext Markup Language is the language used for website creation It's the essential language for this.
In this HTML there are specific Tags, reserved words, that indicate the purpose of a statement. An opening tag precedes the statement and by convention are enclosed in angle brackets. At the end of the statement there is a corresponding closing tag . The opening and closing tags are matched, the closing tag also including a / character. The tags are reserved for this purpose. The library is published here W3Schools.
The "blog tags" are the same. Sometimes they are limited to simplify the construction of a blog. Blog posts generally are more simple than the content of the traditional web-page.
The reference I gave you is probably the premiere online source for learning about the process.
Shawn Holman one of the users of this forum is publishing a weekly tutorial on this forum on the use of HTML. It's excellent and a good place to learn about this also.
