Hi Fishy,

Smileys don't have their own codes. If you want to put smileys on your site, you have two options:

You could look for smileys you like, download them, upload them to your filemanager, and use the image widget to put them on your site.

Or

I found this site which hosts smileys remotely for you. http://www.mazeguy.net/smilies.html

On the yellow side bar you will see smiley categories.

Look through the categories for a smiley you like.
In the red box you will see a drop down menu. Choose HTML from the menu.
Click on the smiley you want. An HTML code will be generated in the red box.
Copy and paste that code into an HTML widget in your Synthasite site builder.

Hope this helps.

If someone else has a better solution, please share.

Hi Fishy - js-kit.com's website says that they have recently added emoticons to the comments feature but it's not appearing when we use it. I've posted a question on their website and I hope I'll get a reply soon!

From reading i think your trying to generate smilies from regular text such as ":)" and it will give a smile. Right now i know no systems compatible with Yola that work.

But hopefully they'll add this soon :)

Actually.. you can! If you go into your HTML editor and hold down the Alt key and then hit number 1 on your keypad, a smiley will come up. There are other ones. If you want more, let me know.
