I want to add files to my site, so people can download pdf e-books I have produced. I have compressed them in Quarkxpress but still the files are quite large (8Mb, 9Mb, and 23Mb). What is the maximum file size allowed, and how can I compress them still further?

Hello,

File size limits are determined by the level of account you have. With Yola Free you are allowed to upload files up to 5MB with 1G total on your site. With the Silver package, you are able to upload files up to 100MB with 5G total storage space on your account.

One thing you may be interested in doing is hosting your files externally. Here are a few that we have suggested to our clients previously:

Zippyshare
3File

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
