Hi soya,

A URL is an abbreviation for "Uniform Resource Locator," which is the Internet "address" of documents and other resources on the World Wide Web. The URL is how people can find your website.

The address bar is the input field at the top of the browser window that displays the location (URL) of the current webpage. People can also type in a URL up in the address bar, to get to a certain website.

For example, when you go to the SynthaSite Home Page, the address bar will say: http://www.synthasite.com/ This is the URL (the exact location on the Internet where this website page exists).

When you've created a website with SynthaSite, your URL will be something like this: http://www.your_website_name.synthasi....

In a nutshell, a URL helps people navigate around the Internet to get to exact website "locations."

Hopefully this all makes sense!
