I have been trying to get google adsense for search to work, and I'm wondering what type of site encoding Synthasite uses. If the answer can not be found, do you have any other ways to let customers search through our site?

Hi there,

If you're trying to add Google Adsense for Search, you can copy the HTML embed code provided by Google and add it using the HTML widget. Drag-and-drop the HTML widget onto your page and paste the code into the HTML editor that opens.

You can add a Google search box by using the Widgetbox Gallery:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the Google category
3. Click on 'Google Search'
4. Edit your settings (to add your site URL and your logo)
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget!

You can also add a Google search box with Google Gadgets:
1. Open the widgets folder - in the side bar at the right of your screen
2. Drag and drop a Google Gadgets widget onto your page
3. A dialogue box will open up with a link to Google Gadgets. Click on this link.
4. You will then be taken to Google Gadgets, find a search box, customize it as desired and copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the dialogue box in SynthaSite.

Please let us know if it doesn't work for you.

Hi Emmy & Marije,

I use adsense for search but the problem is in adsense search it gives the option that the search page to be opened in own website or a new page. I want it to open in my site only. I created a blank page called "Search_Result" & copied its address in adsense option but when i tried there was error. I think this is due to something in fetch query syntax in PHP because same thing i tried in one of my weebly a/c which uses HTML it worked fine.

Can u suggest some way that adsense for search results show in my site page only as it would be really great.

BTW Synthasite is really cool & better than Weebly or any other i have gone through.
