Hi, I am ready to publish my website. I have an existing domain so I know that I need to point the domain to yola. However, I'm just wondering what will happen my webmail account. I currently have an email address with the domain and I'm wondering if moving to Yola will impact this or if I will still be able to access it as normal.

When you point your domain to Yola, the domain records that you change are called the "A" records. These "A" records are the ones that tell web-browsers where to find pages on a domain.

However, email is governed by a different type of domain record. When you send email, the servers check the "MX" domain records to find out where to send it.

In other words, if you change the "A" records to point to Yola, but leave the "MX" records as they were, your email will carry on working as before, but your websites will now be found on Yola!

I hope this answers your question?
