When will the desired Synthasite forum will come ?

I had read that synthasite is working on forum in a year ago. But this service is till unavailable.

We are waiting for it. Please introduce a forum in synthasite.

How long we have to wait for forum in synthasite?

If you need more time to Launce this forum then please suggest me a free forum that will be suitable in synthasite.

Hi rezwan,

Your first query was answered. I presume that we misunderstood your needs. Three references were suggested for forums suitable for Synthasite: Nabble, Lefora and another.

Can you tell us exactly what you want?

Hi rezwan,

Do you mean that Synthasite will create a forum application for their users to install?

I understand Rezwan,

Synthasite don't develop applications for inclusion. What they have done is make available preferred applications to place in your site and facilities to allow embedding HTML applications. Some of these are listed specifically in the sidebar, others are by recommendation.

The forum is such an example.

You are aware that Nabble and Lefora are two examples of embeddable forums suitable for use on Synthasite and I have used Nabble and a number of php type forums. Nabble are by far the best to use for this application from my experience. It is easy for your users to use and they don't have to move off your site to register.

I hope that this makes the situation clearer for you.

I agree that Nabble is easy to use. But Nabble does not permit individual forum registration. I mean if i have a nabble forum in my website and my site users want to register to my forum (powered by nabble), then he/she has to register in nabble not in my forum. It is not a good idea for any website users.

Hi Rezwan,

I am very interested in your argument.

Recently a number of arguments have arisen about similar topics. eg access of photo organisers to your files, updating contacts for social sites etc. I hadn't thought about registration of facilities like Nabble.

Can you tell us more please?

Hello Peter,

I like nabble as a free forum. Working with nabble is so easy and it's look is very simple that is nice to see.

but I don't like the registration process for a forum (powered by nabble) in a website.

When a user come to my website then he knows about my website (name, content, product etc). When he wants to register himself/herself then he/she will find a name "nabble". When they go to their mail box for email verification then they see that they receive an email from nabble.

From picture you can see that, email says that this mail is send from nabble to them and they are nabble user, they register with nabble.

but they register in my website. Nabble is just a service provider. Their name should come as they are providing this free forum service but not like that.

This way my site users may confuse.

Another things, watch this picture

Here you can see that, "2 new features" is written. but this features is for nabble not for my site. but my website users may confuse about this. They may think this new features may be introduced by me on my website. Nabble may notify about their new features by mail, not by this way.

I don't know what do you think about this. But i think nabble should think about this.

That's why i am searching a free forum till now.

I agree nabble is not perfect but it is the best free forum I have found. IF you can find a better one let me know.

There is of course the option of purchasing a forum such as vbulletin.

The reason I took mind down was because the entries were public domain or something to that matter. Since it was to be used as a support group, I didnt think it would be fair. For others, where the display of their content isnt sensitive, it works.

Rezwan73 - thank you for this question and for making us aware of your specific requirements. This is really helpful when we consider building this feature or integrating with a third party service. It is true that this request has been around a long time but so far our development time has gone into building other features that were requested even more urgently. It is always a challenge to know which ones to do first!

I can assure you that whenever we write up a list of requested features, "forums" features prominently, so our development team is aware of the growing demand for this. I don't have a date for this yet, but the more people request it, the more likely it is that it will get scheduled.

Peter, thanks for your extensive help on this thread!
