Hi Tina

Are you looking to edit your site's html source?

Synthasite is closed source at the moment, meaning you can't directly edit the source of your site, you have use the html widget to add html to your site by simply dragging and dropping it from the right window into your page (in the site builder).

Do you just want to see what your source looks like without being able to edit it?

If so, go to your published website and right click anywhere on it. then, from the menu, choose "view page source" or "view source" (depending on your browser).

That will show you the source of the page you are on, although you can not edit it.

Hi Tina,

If you want site's to link to you, then all you need to give them is your URL or website's address and they will use their link editor to create a link to your site.

Does this answer your question?

hi tina

if you want to make links using html, you can find a tutorial for it at quackit.com here:
http://www.quackit.com/html/tutorial/...

you can also read a less wordy tutorial that i wrote on my site here:
http://webmasteruniversity.co.cc/HTML...

you can also make links with a text widget

html is one way to make links, the other way would be to use a text widget:

(login and open your site in the site builder)

-drag and drop a text widget on your site

-type in the words that you want linked

-highlight the words with your mouse

-in the middle of the horizontal menu that shows up when you work in a text widget, you will see a button with a picture of a chain link on it. click on that button.

-a window will pop up, where you can simply choose how you want to link the text; either browse for an internal page; type in an external url, type in an email address to link to, or browse for a file.

-when you choose the one that you need, press ok and the link is set

just ask if you have questions
