no problem... one thing I've discovered is that people hate to waste time. They want to know if they will like your site from the homepage. Having an example or featured poem will give them that insight. When I feature an article on my homepage, I use the first paragraph or two from the article with a (more...) link. In the paragraphs featured on the homepage I am sure to include any links to other pages so they can get an idea of how many topics are included throughout the site. Like right now, philosophy is featured on my home page and language (a word in the section) was made into a link to the language page and same thing for Greek. It gives visitors an idea of the site.
