Why are those fireworks still there?

I recently placed a fireworks effect on my site, however i found another and tried to delete the HTML Widget, the delete was successful but the fireworks are still there. I've republished it and they're still there. I've checked the pages source code and the offending code isn't there.
Any Ideas?
