Why can I no longer copy and paste photos from one page to the next?

Things have dramatically changed since their new toolbar. This is going to cause more headache than it's worth. If we can't copy and paste photos from within our own website to another page I can guarantee many of us will move on.

Hi jdjdjlmj,

We have announced our plans to revert to our original text editor. That said, copying and pasting between pages has never been an advisable practice. We would encourage you to add a new widget and select the image from your Sitebuilder every time you you need to add it.

Since the other thread I commented on this got shut down without a satisfactory answer, I'll take this up here.  I'm revamping my website now and that means altering existing pages. There are elements that I would like to copy from one page to another. The save page function won't work for me in this situation because I'm altering the look of existing content. Something as simple as copying a empty custom panel with column dividers would save me a ton of time. I'm not sure how it's advisable to reinvent an empty stock element time after time when altering already existing pages. If you haven't tried to make 100 identical custom panels with multiple columns, I challenge you to do so. See how long that takes you. After that if you don't think Yola needs to add a copy element function, I will stand corrected.  However, I have a suspicion that you'll find it's a maddening time sucker.

Hello Brian,

We always appreciate hearing how we can improve our Sitebuilder and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I can certainly understand from your viewpoint how having the ability to copy widgets from page to page would be a handy feature to have. We would be happy to put this forward to our Product Team to take under consideration.

Sweet! We appreciate the recommendation to upload from sitebuilder everytime... but when copying and pasting from our own site it is an useless step and hassle. YOU ROCK YOLA!
