I currently have one of the free burlap templates, who's text links to other pages are in white. the problem is my current background is also in off white so the links to my other two pages don't show. I have tried literally 50 times to change the background by going to change page design-format background, choosing a colour pressing ok etc, and then the background changes as expected. Only when i preview the page or try and save it the new background does not save and defaults back to the off white!!! maddening stuff. does anyone have any ideas?

Hi There,

I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue. We have received your email in support as well and I have answered you. The reason you are having this issue, is because you have added HTML code at the bottom of your pages to change the background image. If you remove this code, then you will be able to edit the background image again.

Hi kershnee, Thank you so much for your reply. I now vaguely remember fiddling with html when i origenally designed the site, the only remaining question is what i need to do in order to delete the html coding? Many Thanks, Nico

Hello nicothoemmes

Kershnee is currently offline right now. You will need to go into your HTML and locate the HTML code. I believe Kershnee has sent you an email about this. If you have not received it, please send us another one to support@yola.com and we will be able to follow up with you.
