Why can't I change the image in my banner. I have the "innovate" style and could change the imagine yesterday but today nothing happens each time I try today. The loading dialogue box opens and I get the option to select a file. I select a jpg file from my PC and it fails to load just keeps saying "loading".

Our apologies for the frustration you experienced with your banner image.

I have just replied to your email in support. Please check your inbox and let's work through the problem. Once we figure out what is causing this I will come back and post the answer on this thread for the benefit of anyone who may encounter a similar issue.

Do I need to make my site live for you to look at? Don't think there is anything more I can do until i get some tips.

Would you mind answering the support email I sent you? It outlines the exact steps I am proposing we take to investigate this problem further. It would be much easier for me to deal with this particular issue via our email support channel and then come back here and post the answer once we know what the problem is.

I'd do anything you ask, but have no idea what support email you mean. New to Yola I may be missing something, but I did not receive any other email then the 2 replies from you above. Please advise
And sorry about the delay - time difference with New Zealand doesn't help...

Hello,
Possibly Monique had responded to a different user if you are not seeing the email from her, I can work with you from here.

I'd like you to try a few things for me and then try again to change your banner image:

1. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.

2. Please check to see that you have the latest version of Flash installed, for more information please click here: Version Test for Adobe Flash Player.

3. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). We would suggest using the Firefox browser as this browser seems to work best in the Yola environment. It is a free download if you would like to give it a try: Download Firefox.

Can you please give these suggestions a try and then let us know if you are still unable to change your banner image.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi Emmy, first cleared the cache, checked my Flash Player version and then installed Firefox - that worked. Thank you very much for your help - great to have it solved!

I already have the Yola Silver and I can't change the image of my banner and the font. Please Help because I need to publish my site. If there's anyone who speaks Portuguese to answer me it would be better. I paid for the resourses and i'm not having the benefits. I'm very frustated.
Thanks.

Hello Flávia,

We do have a Yola Portuguese community if you wish to post your question there! Here's the link: Yola Português.

If you could please post your URL and explain what happens when you try to change your banner that would be helpful. If you wish to change the font, you'll probably need to tweak the Site CSS to accomplish this. Are you wanting to change the font in the page heading?

Please feel free to add this information to your post should you wish to add it to your Portuguese community.
