Why can't I download my site?

I have spent a very long time working on my site, and quite a lot of money too.
I would like to understand why I cannot download MY site that I spent all that time creating! Can anyone please tell me how I could possibly get my site to upload it to my domain host? I have spent so much money and now the download feature is gone and I have no options?
Should I just abandon my site altogether and start again with a different site builder?

Hi hayley,

We have removed the "download site" feature from Yola as the use of it was limited and we found that the engineering costs and the support needed for the few users that did need it, didn't warrant us keeping it as a feature.

We encourage you to make use of our free hosting service which includes 99% uptime, DoS protection and 24/7 support.

I realize that this may be a repeat of information you have already read on our website. I can only confirm that this information is correct and there is no additional assistance that our support team can provide to users wishing to download their sites.

I am sorry I don't have better news for you.

I have quite a few sites that I have created here for myself and friends.
I have paid for silver yola on most of those accounts, as well as domain name etc...
However I am unhappy with the length of time it takes to load even the simplest of pages, and the fact that I cannot really make the site my own despite the hundreds of dollars I have spent.
I understand you would not want to lose customers, but there is really no where else I can go with my sites.
It appears if I had come to download my sites only a couple of months ago when the tool was still available, all of my sites would be in a much better place right now.
I hope not to offend, I really do love yola, but now I am pretty much stuffed.
