Why can't I get my email to work? I've followed the tutorial

Im trying to set up my email, and am following the tutorial, but it's still not working. When I refresh the Windows Live page, it still says I have to prove ownership of this domain.. Help please! :)

My domain is www.beautisoul-cafe.com and I set up 3 email addresses with Windows Live a few weeks ago. I can't remember any of my log in info, can't retrieve my passwords or anything, and there is no option to retrieve passwords. Also, when I go to the Windows Live Admin Center, and try to "get started" with my domain again, it says that I have to prove I'm the owner of the domain. Please let me know what to do, thanks.

Hi Kellea - You would need to contact Windows Live if you can't remember your Windows Live ID. With regards to resetting your password, you can do so here - Reset Windows Live Password.

Hi Mary - the MX Record has not been added to your domain's settings. Can you try adding it again or send an email to support@yola.com with the MX Record so that we can add it for you. Once done, you will be able to continue setting up email addresses.

Im having very same problem. Hopefully support can sort it out as im sick looking at it! Tried on different days but same problem.

Yes, I agree that is not nice. I added your MX records through an DNS admin program and it is now added.

Sorry this has happened. I am notifying our engineers too, so that they can fix the issue.

I appreciate you trying to help me however i think the problem may be more severe than you may think. I still have the same problem and i cant access change dns settings without being booted back out with error "Uh-oh. Something has gone wrong. We're going to close advanced settings quickly. Please give us a moment and then try again. Thanks"

Hi Chris, We have reported this error to our engineers. If you need further DNS records added to your domain in the meantime, can you post them here or email them to support@yola.com. We will add them for you until the issue is resolved.

Yola adviced me not to help you with technical methods.

First, create a MX Record in your domain registrar's window with following details.

Type : MX
host : yourdomain.Com
ip/path/value : 1694403095.Pamx1.Hotmail.Com
priority : 10

if no field to priority and says error when submitting , enter following as mx path.
10:1694403095.Pamx1.Hotmail.Com

you need to delete all other mx records to work this method. If you don't need to delete them, change their priority value to 30 .
then, update your dns validation with hotmail.

Ayesh - we appreciate your help, but please do not offer to assist with any DNS on your own system. The DNS setup on Yola is sufficient for domains purchased through Yola.

I just needed to help that user with Live Admin Centre.
I am a manager of Bing-Admin Centre and I process some hotmail issues and request on behalf of Bing.
Surely yola can help that user if it bought from yola.
I though it is from elsewhere.
