since yola doesnt allow bad websites that steal information or contain viruses or bad things you should allow us to get one free. you can check our websites and if we pass, we get the Yola TRUSTe seal of approval the test could be repeated annually.

thanks

Hi Alex,

TRUSTe offers users an actual privacy policy for their business which includes the TRUSTe seal. Every website owner that takes information from its visitors needs a privacy policy to ensure his visitors he will not misuse that information. Through the form widget any Yola user can request information from people visiting their site, including Name, e-mail, etc from their visitors.

The TRUSTe Privacy policy lets the website visitors know that their information will not be misused or shared with third parties. TRUSTe enforces the policy by allowing users to complain about breaches.

Please check http://www.truste.com/ for more info. (Their regular pricing is much higher than what they charge Yola users: http://www.truste.com/privacy_seals_a.... For an example of a company using the TRUSTe privacy policy check out http://www.apple.com/privacy/.

Thanks.

I don't recommend anyone to buy it. I bought it and i am not using it. The privacy that they write for my website, it says that "We will share your personal information with third parties" which I do not share any of my costumers information and I do not receive any costumers credit card information

And privacy they link to your web site is coming from

http://privacy-policy.truste.com

not from www.truste.com

Hi dante,

71% of customers questioned in a survey said that they would first of all look for security and privacy seals. So it appears to have some weight.

The URL that you mentioned is in fact "truste.com" domain. It's a subdomain that they have created within their custom domain. It's not an outside domain at all.

Such seals on average are associated with an 11% to 15 % increase in transactions.
