Whenever I try to build my website the internet connection freezes up. This started happening about three weeks ago and is getting worse. It doesn't happen on any other website - only Yola. It is also happening now as I am trying to ask for help. To get my internet working again I usually have to wait 15 to 30 minutes or restart my computer.

Hello IwateBuddy,

I'm sorry that you are having this problem. Could you do the following for me, please?

* Check to see if you are having problems with your network or internet service provider.
* Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.
* Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.
* Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: Enable Javascript.
* Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). We would suggest using the Firefox browser as this browser seems to work best in the Yola environment. It is a free download if you would like to give it a try: Download Firefox.
* Try loading the site on a different computer or network if possible.

If none of these suggestions solves your problem, please let us know.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Try updating your browser. Clear your computers temp files and check for spyware.

Also check to see if perhaps a code is interfering with your site. Did you place a widget or html code in your site? If so, try to remove it and see if that makes a difference. I really hope this issue is resolved.

I have this problem too. I send out an email to many friends with my Yola site address, but even I can only make it work in Firefox. It alarms me to think that my friends can't see my web site. It is critical for me taht it works for all. I'm not in a position to tell them use Firefox instead of IE.

Hello daninsvitavy,
Can you tell us what your url is and we can take a look?

Are people trying to get to your site using the address bar or the search box? If your site is not indexed yet, people will need to use the address bar at the top of the screen and not the search box more towards the center. Once your site is indexed people will be able to get to your site using the search box.
