There are a couple of things I would like to know, firstly, how do I create addition menu items down the left side of my page or even as 'Links'? Secondly I would like to install a 'Skype me' button and have tried to get the code from 'Widget box' , but that didn't work.
My site is going to be a commercial site offering training module for the construction industry 'global'
So any help to get my site to look professional would be appreciated.

Hello there John,

To add additional pages to your navigation:

1. Click on "Add Page" - the 4th button from the left on the top toolbar.
2. A dialog box will open up that will prompt you to give your page a name.
3. When you click "OK", a new page will be created and a link will automatically be added to your navigation.

To add a Skype button to your homepage:

1. Click on http://www.skype.com/share/buttons/ to customize the button you would like to use on your site.
2. Copy the HTML code provided and drag and drop the HTML Widget onto your page.
3. Paste the code into the HTML editor that opens.

If the Skype button doesn't seem to work, you'll need to change some Skype settings. Here's how to do that:

1. Open Skype program.
2. Select Tools -> Options on Windows or select Preferences on Mac.
3. Select Privacy Settings.
4. Click the "Show Advanced Options" button.
5. Finally tick on the "Allow my status to be shown on the web" check button.
6. Click "Save" in the Options dialog to exit.

People will then be able to click on your Skype Widget in order to contact you.

I hope this helps.

Hi John

Right now, when choosing from the style template selection, you can have your menu either vertically or horizontally, not both.

The way to achieve the vertical menu if your style has an existing horizontal menu, is to follow the steps below:

1. Use the Column Divider Widget or choose from the Page Layout options, so that your page can be separated into at least 2 columns.

2. Drag-and-drop a Text Widget into the left column so that you can add your navigation text (you can use the Link Editor to turn it into links to the other pages in your site).

3. You can drag the vertical line of the column to decrease/increase the width of the columns.

4. You can change the margin settings in the "Properties" tab to the right of your screen, so that the text is pushed further to left (for example, add the number -40 to the left margin setting). This could work effectively, depending on the style you've chosen. It might overlap on some colors or lines though and you may need to readjust the margins again.

Hope this helps! Let us know if you need more assistance with your website.

Thank you
