I notice that new users can't add a blog to their Yola sites anymore which is a huge shame. I've been using Yola for years and recommending it to others and the blog feature was key. I run a home computer training business and I always recommend Yola if people want to build a website, but I may have to rethink if there is not going to be a blog feature.

Is there any chance of the blog feature returning?

Hello Anne,

Yola have adopted Tumblr as a plugin widget for blogging with the Yola platform. This has affected new registrants but not those with older accounts with Yola blogs added to their site.

The Tumblr platform is superior to the Yola blog in a number of ways and has a lot more features than that. It requires the sitebuilder to register an account with tumblr and create their site there. The Tumblr blog is then brought onto a page within the site. Editing etc is done on the Tumblr platform.

Tumblr can be installed on a Yola site through a widget within the Yola sitebuilder.
