you might have to be more detailed? Does it seem to be an advertisement?

If it's an advertisement, there's two possible reasons...

  1. you added a code such as kontera and you get paid for it, or

  2. something you have downloaded in the past has added an add on to your browser/computer adding the links (advertisements) in which they get paid for YOU clicking on them.

If you show us the site, we can make this determination. If it's viewable to you but not us, it's an add on in your browser, people add them to make money off of you, you don't even have to agree to it sometimes - that would mean its malicious.

If it's viewable to us and you, then it's within your website and I would double check my code in Yola.

What's your url?

I don't see any other links on that site. It's probably something someone put into your browser. Are you able to take a screen shot of these links? I believe it's only within your computer, which is alright considering your visitors won't see them. Can you also try using another browser or another computer and see if you have the same problem?

yep, no problem. Most likely, your visitors won't see them. If that's the case, search google about getting rid of ads someone place in your browser, you might have to search several things. There's probably a particular program causing this, like when my mother downloaded a gaming client to her computer, they hosted ads within her browser just because it was on her computer, uninstalling it got rid of the ads. You may find your problem looking in the Add/Remove Programs.

Hello ohhshaun

I'm sorry to hear that you're frustrated. I believe that the issue that you're seeing with the underlining, links and advertisement pop-ups is an Internet Explorer specific occurrence. The reason why this happens is most likely because of some kind of spyware/adware program that is installed on your computer or through your browser add-ons. The spyware program loads in the background and underlines certain words, which turns them into hyperlinks. Therefore, when you click or put your mouse over them, an advertisement pops up that leads you to the product related to the word that's highlighted.

Possible spyware programs that may be installed on your computer are:
"Smiley CentralTM, Cursor ManiaTM, Popular ScreensaversTM, the MyWebSearch® search box and Search Assistant."

You may have also have been unknowingly infected if you visited or downloaded from IWON, Vimeo, Life123 , Girlsense, Kazulah, Excite, Vicinio, and Zwinky.

You will also need to look for "Bonus software" that may have been downloaded along with your main program.

To remove the offending programs, you will need to uninstall the program as well as any of the additional side-programs that were also downloaded.

I, too, do not see any links. I've attached a screenshot when I view your site through Firefox.

Please let me know if further clarification is needed.
