Hi! I'm trying to make a navigation bar down the side of my page. I am making the text there into links. But when I make it a link, it is automatically underlined and turned blue. When I try to hi light it and change it back to black and unclick the underline button, it doesn't respond. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hello Jessica,

The link color is set by the Style, so the other way to try changing the color would be to do this in the HTML; you can also remove the underline from your link. If you click on the little HTML icon you will be in the HTML code of the text widget.

Here is the code that is in there for your first link Stitcheries, can you give this a try and let me know if it doesn't do what you would like:

<p style="font-style:italic; color:pink; text-decoration:none"><font size="3"> - Stitcheries <br></font></p>

The color is pink, this can be changed to what you would like it to be.

O.k. Thank you so much! It is good to know that I can edit the text in HTML. I didn't notice that before.
