Myrna,

I'm sorry you are frustrated. How long ago did you make the changes? It can take up to 48 hours.

Could you post your URL here so that we can see if it works for us?

Hi Myrna

We know this part of publishing your site can be tricky and we would like to do all we can to help!

I did a look up on your domain. It is currently pointing to the wrong IP address. It needs to point to 208.75.208.172. Please take another look at this portion of the tutorial: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/p... and run through the steps again.

If it still does not work for you, please email GoDaddy's support and ask for help with your A record. You are also welcome to email us at support@synthasite.com and we will do what we can to assist you.

Best wishes
Monique

Monique, Thank you so very much for all your help. I would like to ask another question please. I have several domain names I would like to use to have them all directed to the web page I built on Synthasite last night. Is it possible to CHANGE the url to another name....and if so.......how do i go about it? Thanks so much again

Depending on who you registered your domain with, for example GoDaddy, it is possible to forward additional domains to your main domain. Speak to your domain registrar about it.

It appears that there is an error in your site.

Please follow below.

In your registrar , create 2 A records with "www" and "@" as the HOST and yola ip, 208.72.208.172 as ip/point/etc.

After their work done , when entering your domain name to address bar should show a page "your domain points to yola.".

Then, log in to yola site builder > site manager > enable advanced domain settings >

click "add" and enter the domain u got.

If yola says that domain not point to yola, retry tommarow.

If errors presist, reply here.

I made 2 A records with the domain pointing at Yola's IP
but I can't enable advanced domain settings. It says my domain is already in use?

I'm so confused.

Hello Sophia

When I look up your domain settings, you have one A record pointing to Yola and another one pointing to: 64.202.189.170

Please make sure you have 2 A records set up. If you would like your domain to work correctly with the "www" prefix you need to make sure that your DNS settings are configured correctly to support the "www" prefix. For this you need to set up two A-records:

* Some domain registrars require one A Record with the hostname "@" and one with the hostname "www".
* Other domain registrars allow you to create one hostname called "domain.com" and another "www" (replace "domain" with your own address).
* Both should point to our IP address: 208.75.208.172.

For more information on pointing your domain to Yola, click on this link.

I'm using dreamhost for my domain and the site comes up correctly at "nfungotah.com" but doesn't when I type "www.nfungotah.com". I have created 2 A records, one is nfungotah.com and the other is set at www.nfungotah.com.

Can you tell me if I'm missing any steps? I'm at a loss here.

Hi Kim - I replied to your earlier email too, I hope you received it. This is what I see when I go to your site:

When did you point your domain to Yola? It may still be propagating and you'll just need to keep clicking on the Refresh button until it shows. You can also try clearing your browser's cache: http://www.google.com/support/account... as that may help.
