If you need support from Yola please contact us via email@example.com or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
Hi, my website is www.saraviva.com and while I have been happily able to design my website and "publish" it multiple times, when I simply try to access the site by the normal url the site won't load. can somebody(who works here) please help me, I'm not sure what to do.
It sounds like this may be the first you are hearing of the Denial of Service (DoS) attack we experienced recently. You may be interested in reading the blog post from our CEO on the matter: Recent Yola outage: Here's what happened. This was also sent in the form of a direct email to our users so I am sorry if you did not receive it.
Because of the DoS attack, it was necessary to block our old IP address completely and migrate to a new one. This means that you will need to go into your account settings with your registrar and remove the old IP address of 126.96.36.199 and repoint the A Records to 188.8.131.52.
We are deeply sorry for the impact that this has had on your website and your business. We are committed to a full resolution of the problem and will do everything in our power to prevent it from happening again in future.
Please let me know if you need any other assistance.
