Hi Phil

This could be a temporary problem. I just tried out Widgetbox Gallery on a few widgets and it worked fine. Please try again. If it is not working please tell me the name of the widget you are trying to add and also what browser you are using. I hope we can work this out.

phil, you could try going direct to widget box www.widgetbox.com and searching for forums in their website search box. Get the code you need and paste it directly into the HTML widget on your page.

does it still not work after you publish your site? certain widgets (widgetbox or not) do not show up in website builders because they only work on published sites with a domain name, or subdomain (this is true for any js-kit.com widgets).

if this is the case, just publish the site, and it should work when you open it.

if it doesn't, then maybe the widget itself doesn't work. try finding another widget. what widget are you looking for? maybe i or someone else here knows were you can find one.

tell me how it works out

Thanks for the suggestions. However, my impression was that the whole Widgetbox Gallery dialog box was blank and that Phil could not select any widgets to begin with. I might be wrong, in which case your suggestions could help. Alternatively he could use the Widgetbox widget in the "Widgets" folder (instead of Widgetbox Gallery)

Try Google Gadgets, or you can search for 'free forums'

hi phil,

sorry it didn't work

if you choose to do a search for free forums like ruth gave as an option, view this discussion, it might help: http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite...

even if you choose not to use freeforums.org like i suggested, most free forum hosts use phpbb and will most likely follow the same instructions

unfortunately, i do not know a way to create a forum that can be embedded on your site itself, you would just have to add a link from your site to it.

i'll be listening
