Hi Everyone

Firstly I must thank all the Yola forum staff and regulars for posting great topics that is helping me with my site building experience.

Now, My Question: I made a galleries with a little bit of custom code, images and titles, in textboxes each in its own column. Will I be able to use Google custom search to search for images and display them as they are or are there an alternative gallery script or search engine I can use?

You can have a look at http://ai-ya.yolasite.com Some tips for my site will be great.

Great job on your site and very cool that you are willing to share. When you say custom search are you talking about using a Google search widget on your site?

I'm not sure exactly what you want to do... do you want people to search by text and find a image on a page? the title under the images will do the job for this.

There are numerous free site searchs available... i use http://www.picosearch.com/ - i like it because you can ask them to re crawl your content any time.

Also remember that google can not see your images when they crawl your site... i would add alt tags to all the images.

For example <img src="resources/whatever.jpg" alt="whatever">

PS - great looking site and great content.

Yes, I want people to search and on the search results page find image thumbnails with titles (like google image search) and not text links to image pages.

Thank for the tags code, I have only put the tags at the download page.
Will give picosearch a look.

Thanks for reply.
