Hi there c2print,

I apologize that it has taken us a while to get to your question, it sounds like the problem you are having is very frustrating and I would like to help get it worked out.

I am glad to hear you tried Firefox and that you did clear your cache as these are two things I would have suggested first. I have a few other suggestions that you could try just to see if it might help:

1. Please check to see that you have the latest version of Flash installed, for more information please click here: Version Test for Adobe Flash Player.

2. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.

If this doesn't help at all, my next suggestion would be to try from another computer on another network. Please let me know how this goes for you.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hello c2print

I'm sorry to hear that trying the above suggestions did not seem to work for your computer. Let's see if we can think of other possible ideas that may work for you.

I'm wondering there are any particular add-ons or programs that may have been downloaded that would affect your ability to publish. Can you please try disabling any add-ons that may have been added and see if this makes any difference?

Do you have any blocker programs such as adware blockers, cookie blockers, firewalls, anti-virus, etc?? You can also try disabling those as well.

Please let me know how this goes.

I tell you Sanja ... I just have No clue ... No anti Virus ... it is a brand new MacBook Pro which happens to run like a champion ... it just will not let me publish any changes ... just spins loading ... I have a dozen websites to boot, I literally cannot make a change to any of them.

I knew Yola seemed like it was too good to be true. Too bad I am now locked out somehow.

Hello c2print

I know that it must be very frustrating. As you are able to publish your site via another computer - this would seem to indicate that the problem is localized to your computer.

I, too, use Macbook Pro and am unable to replicate issue. Can you please try uninstalling your browser and re-installing it to see if this makes any difference? Alternatively, you can try using a different browser such as Safari to see if that helps.

Can you please let us know what version of Flash you have?

Thank you for your patience as we work on this together.

Hi Diane ... thanks for your reply ... you can next stick a fork in me, I am done.

the thing that bothers me the most is ... I really do like using Yola and am not happy that the Yola experience for me has now ended.

One can only keep trying to publish for so long ... I cannot believe I will now have to start over with another website builder that will work with this Mac.

Hello c2print,

Hmmm, I'm so sorry we haven't been able to work this out as of yet. I can understand your frustration with wanting to use your new computer... I would want to use mine as well!

Have you tried using your Mac in a few different locations, such as from your home and from a place that offers wifi? If the computer works from another location it could be a problem with your Internet connection... It's just a thought, we would really like to help you if we can.

Hi Emmy ... thanks for your input also, I do not have access to another Internet connection right now. Somehow I do not see it being the Internet connection ... I can do everything online ... except get that last publish window on Yola to stop spinning ... loading.

I am hooked in through a Telus Internet Key (which has also never given me a problem)

I really do wish I could still use Yola ... for one I do not want to transfer all my Domains from Yola, but the websites are all useless now if I cannot edit them.

The time I spent building them is the killer ... the cost of 12 Domains and my Yola Silver are secondary

I just wish this would work before I am forced to give up and start over elsewhere.

We really would like to help with this and will continue to work with you as long as you would like to keep working on it. Is it alright with you if I go into your Sitebuilder and try to re-publish for you to see if I can replicate the problem.

I really wish I could publish my sites ... I am drowning here ...

I just started a new site on one of Yola's competitors ... I wish I was not forced to move on. ... however all my Yola sites are now dead in the water.

I have spent 100s of hours building with Yola ... now I am starting all over.

I really hope I do not get a hard time when moving all my Domains over.

Hi, c2print,

I'm really sorry you can't publish your sites. I'm sure this must be very frustrating for you. If you're up to trying one more thing: you could try repairing your permissions--see this link on how to do that: http://kb.iu.edu/data/aoxn.html. I don't know if this will help or not but I wanted to give you the option.

Also, remember you can always point your domains to wherever your site is hosted. Let us know if you need any help.

Diane ... You are a Rock Star ... you deserve a rai$e and a Big Hug. ... the downside 2 this ... because this took so long to figure out, and I got really tired of logging in to see the publish spinning loading ... I signed up and paid for a premium account elsewhere, even started building a site ... AppleOC.com
If you see the top of this thread ... I even have to reach out with "is there anybody out there?" ... if I was given this suggestion 3 days ago ... I would not have a premium account at one of Yola's biggest rivals right now.
Last night I even tried to stay Loyal to Yola and register AppleOC.com ... hoping this loading issue would get fixed. I was not able to even purchase ... so that was what forced me to get the other premium account.

thanks again Diane

Hi c2print,

I've just replied on http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/who.... If you wouldn't mind giving the goahead to Emmy's request?

Diane's step might also help - if you could also confirm that you've given those a try?

Go Diane!

c2print - The support team asked me for ideas on this thread and I must admit that I was absolutely stumped but I did ask everyone to keep trying. This is often the way when the problem relates to something unique on the user's computer or in their network environment. We are committed to doing our best in these cases, but it often takes awhile to hit on the right solution, because we are basically "flying blind".

So kudos to Diane for having a break through on this one, but very sorry it came too late for you and that you felt you had to go elsewhere.

If we can be of service to you in future, please let us know.

Hi Monique ... like I said, I want to be Loyal to Yola ... all of you girls that work on this forum are the Best in the Business ... Turned out it was a very simple Mac thing with the permissions. I new it was something unique to Mac ... but I also knew my Mac was not broken. I am very happy Diane was able to figure this out ... again you girls are the best,

I do remind myself ... this Yola support service comes to us all for $50 bucks per year ... and for many it is Free ... so the bottom line here is ... Diane saved the Day for me ... there is now way I would leave a Yola that works.

on a lighter note ... know anyone who wants to buy a slightly used W@@bly membership?

cheers Todd

Hi c@print - thanks very much for your kind words and loyalty. We really appreciate it. Going to have to pass on that W@@bly membership though ;) Best of luck with the site, and congrats on the new Macbook Pro! I am a HOPELESS Apple addict - and they tell me there is no cure! So it would have been a source of real embarrassment to me if you couldn't get Yola working on a brand spanking new Mac! I guess I really owe Diane on this one!
