When will Yola support system/website restore? for example, if i lost a lot of work, then i could just use system restore so the website restores itself back to a point (last save date) so no work is lost.
We always encourage our customers to save their changes while they are being made. If you are hoping to test out a few ideas before implementing these changes, I would suggest duplicating your page so you can make and save changes without effecting your actual published page.
Here's how you do it:
Navigate to the page you want to copy.
Next to the "Save" button, click on the down-arrow beside it. There are two drop-down choices that will be revealed: "Save Page" and "Save Page As." (If you have made any changes to the page recently without saving, "Save Page" will also be a clickable option).
Choose "Save Page As".
The "Save Page As" dialog box will pop-up asking you to name your new page, (and give you the chance to change the page heading, and decide whether or not to include the new page in your menu).
Click "OK" and you're done. The newly created page will now appear up in the page drop-down arrow of page choices, so you can go back to it again if you chose not to include it in your menu.
Please note: This option is available for web pages only. Blog pages do not give you the ability to "Save Page As."
We do not have plans to add a system restore option down the path, however, we greatly value our customer's suggestions and will pass it along for further consideration.
