Hi did you mean to have a line cross out at Welcome to Stormy Day Crafts, at least thats how I'm seeing it on IE. Great stuff, perhaps a photo or two in your home page. I like your counter widget!

Gypsy - you have a really nice looking site - you chose just the right template for it! I'm a bloke and not really into flowers, but your site looks great to me! Try my snew chillout site sometime:

HI,
You have a great product here, i wish you all the best selling it. (it seems a very reasonable price)

I would take Rizans advice and add a image or 2 to the home page (perhaps the designs your most proud of)

Some people prefer to buy from ebay than through the website - i would actually link your ebay store but also offer a slight reduction for buying straight from the site (the ebay charges would be enough)

Remember to add your favorite icon to every page.

Great work!

You have some stunning designs! I love the breast cancer ribbons and think that it is really wonderful that you donate some of the proceeds from these to charity.

I am pleased to see that you have such a well developed Yola site to sell your product and hope it brings you lots of business.

Some very useful tips on this thread that can only help you improve an already great site.

Hello stormy!

You obviously have a passion for cross-stitching and you have showcased this very well. Your site is easy to navigate and easy to understand. I do have a few comments to make but please remember that these are only suggestions. You need to do what is right for you and reflects your vision.

1. You are obviously very creative! I would love to see a personalized banner which really depicts your passion. I don't believe that the template you have chosen allows for custom banners. If you do consider uploading your own banner, please use the Yola style guide to determine which template will allow for customization. http://www.yola.com/yola-style-guide

2. On your homepage, I would encourage you to perhaps add some images which reflect the products that you are selling. This will help add some visual dimension to your consumer and spark their interest in exploring your site and seeing what you have to offer.

3. The last suggestion I have is to consider re-sizing your images. This will help speed up loading time. Here's a tutorial which better explains how to use images. http://www.yola.com/tutorials/images-...

I can relate to being a stay-at-home mom and trying to earn a bit of money. I, too, am trying to do the same thing! =) If you're interested in seeing my site, it's http://dejavuapparel.info (best to see it on firefox - still working on making it look good in IE). I wish you the best of luck with this venture. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

Hi Stormy

Since you have so many images to resize, may I suggest that you use a bulk re-sizer? I have one called Pixresizer that is free to download. You may find this to be a useful tool. http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/

You should leave a link with your question by adding http://stormydaycrafts.com

Anyway, you have a very nice site and some great cross-stitching patterns. I used to have an aunt who did these. We used to have a picture of a sailing ship in cross-stitch that she did, not sure whatever happened to that - perhaps it sank!

You have a great talent. Visit my new sites sometime:
