Hello Eddie

I can honestly tell you that I'm not experienced with embedding Wow Slider into a Yola website, but I know that Yola users have successfully added it in the past.

The code from Wow Silder you posted above includes code for the head section. For security reasons the head sections of particular pages are not accessible with Yola. The head section for your whole website, however, is accessible if you have Yola Silver or Yola Gold. You could try to add the head section part of your code (without the doctype and head tags) to the Tracking > Site Tracking Code > Header code area. Please note: This would be at your own risk! If code is added incompletely or incorrectly, it may break your whole website and make it inaccessible. It's recommendable to first test this on a test website you can create in your Yola account.

On your page where you'd like to display the slideshow, you would use an HTML Widget to add the rest of your code (from < body > until < / body >).

Please let me know if this works for you.

Hello saskia,

You could store the images in your File Manager and suggest that you add them to a sub-folder to keep them together. You may also store the image files remotely and then call them in with the absolute address for each image.eg: http://some-site/some-folder/image-na..., jpg or whatever)

Using the File Manager the img src may be a relative address such:
resources/sub-folder name/image name.type(jpg, png etc)

You place source info of each of them in the WOW HTML in the order you wish them to display.

It is best to do any image editing outside the File Manager before uploading. This would include image size, file size etc. If you do it in the image editor it will change the file names and the quality of the images.

If you need specific help you can leave a message here or send me an email:

Thank you Gop for taking the time and replying so quickly. I currently have to focus on another few things first but when i get around to looking into this i will keep your response at the ready. I already had my image files uploaded but i think i need to upload the additional files that come in folders called engine1 and data1 as well. Anyway, i'll have a look at it next week. Thanks again! Also for your private address!

Hi Pierpaolo,

I haven't solved the problem with the wow slider but have been adviced to try www.comslider.com and i did and it is really easy to use (and free which we all like!).

See how you go with that!

Good luck,
Saskia
